Professional Interests
Arthroscopic shoulder, hip, and knee reconstruction including hip arthroscopy for the treatment of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and labral tears, shoulder, hip, and knee replacement, cartilage restoration techniques (including MACI), sports medicine injuries, and trauma care/fractures. He has considerable experience and interest in the management of complex knee injuries.
About Dr. Duethman
Dr. Duethman is a Kansas native, who joined OSMC in August 2022. Following medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center, he completed an orthopaedic residency at Mayo Clinic Department of Orthopeadic Surgery in Rochester, Minnesota. After residency, Dr. Duethman, completed additional fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder/Elbow at OrthoCarolina in Charolotte, North Carolina; where he was an assistant team physician for the Carolina Panthers. Dr. Duethman enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, attending sporting events, playing golf and other outdoor activities. He and his family are excited to be in Manhattan and providing orthopaedic care to Manhattan and surrounding communities.
